If Iran Chooses Peace, the Middle East Will Bloom

For decades, the Middle East has lived under the shadow of Iran’s terror networks and proxy conflicts. From Hezbollah in Lebanon to militias across the region, Tehran’s strategy has fueled instability, violence, and distrust.

The Iranian people are heirs to one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Their creativity and intellectual achievements have enriched humanity for centuries. There is every reason to believe future generations of Iranian innovators could help lead a new era of scientific and economic cooperation in the Middle East.

Peace would not erase the past. Decades of violence, incitement, and mistrust cannot disappear overnight.

But the best response to a politics of destruction is a politics of construction.
